Last Sunday was Sammie's baby blessing! There were three babies blessed that day and she was the second one blessed. Steve and I were very excited for that day but also very nervous for some reason. Steve did a very nice job. The spirit was very strong!! Steve loves his little baby girl. Yes... Sammie is a daddy's girl!! There is nothing I can do about it. I hadn't bore my testimony in a long time in Sacrament and Stephen had never heard my testimony before. Since all of the family was there and the spirit was so strong... I couldn't resist... so I went up to bear my testimony. When I got the front and sat down behind the pulpit I looked out into the congregation. There were a lot more people out there than I thought... I really wanted to chicken out at that point... but I decided to try and be brave. The day before we decided last minute to bring actual food instead of deserts for after the blessing. So, we hurried to Costco for our supplies! We thought we were going to have too much food but we had just enough. After the blessing Steve's uncle came and told us that Sammie was cooing, smiling, and looking around at everyone in the middle of the blessing :) It was a really good day!!!

Temper Tantrum
Ok... this morning I woke up to Sammie crying because she was hungry which is normal. However, when I pulled her out of the crib I decided to change her diaper first before getting her bottle ready and feeding her. She was not happy... she screamed at the top of her lungs and then all of a sudden she found herself on her belly. She was so upset that she arched her back and rolled herself over onto her stomach. WOW... when she is hungry... watch out :) Well, when she is fed, diaper changed, and content... she can pull out some cute smiles!!!
